Response: it sounds great to me, of course, but I am only one person and empirically it seems that attaining critical mass is *the* critical issue, for cit-j-related endeavors.  You're sending the word out about this post, I hope - if you (actively) reach out to active cit-j practitioners and ask them what kind of support they'd appreciate, you'll likely get more and better answers, and it'll help develop interest.
And you might talk to Paul Andrews and Danny Sanchez about joining forces, on the journo end.  Fragmentation bad, synergy (and shared workload) good.

and I *love* the idea of health insurance...if we could pull it off, that'd be a powerful motivator.
