Being somewhat familiar with that particular trade, I have heard and seen most all the derisive, unflattering publicity and stereotypes connected with one who earns their living by turning wrenches.

In some misguided circles in our culture it&#039;s just not cool to use tools. They tend to get your fingernails dirty, not to mention the number they can do on your clothes.

While I can&#039;t say for sure that I&#039;ve ever known a genuine, card-carrying philosopher I have had the whimsical pleasure of knowing a few philosophic plumbers.

I wouldn&#039;t even venture a guess how much or how long it would take a deeply contemplative lover of wisdom to change out a leaky water heater or repair a faucet...</description>
