		<description>Yeah, I know the official Google Maps tutorial is probably meatier than it needs to be.

Yesterday, in the comments to another Tidbits post (http://poynter.org/column.asp?id=31&amp;aid=132047), I pointed to a more manageable Google Maps how-to from Engadget:

It&#039;s from March 2005 so some of the info is outdated, but it&#039;s still good to get a relatively non-geeky person started.
