		<description>I&#039;m with Scott Karp on this one -- companies should be allowed to protect trade secrets.

It&#039;s appropriate that shield laws protect those who reveal corruption, both in government and private enterprise, and who help uncover all kinds of information the government should not be allowed to keep hidden, but a company trade secrets are entirely different.

This law strikes me as appropriate and necessary.</description>
