Be careful what you wish for.  I've got a comment flamer on my site.  He's the world's worst houseguest.  He invites himself in, then proceeds to flame other commenters and me.  That's okay.  I wrote a post on first amendment rights and I've asked him participate further.

He made one more comment to my &lt;a href="http://www.fedhallofshame.com/?p=358" rel="nofollow"&gt;invitation,&lt;/a&gt; and hasn't been back again.

Cathartic?  Don't know.  I do get catharsis from most of my readers' comments -- just not his.</description>
